Vista: Big Brother issues and a cost analysis
For those who bought into Vista early, you might have wanted to hold your horses. I started looking around at what various legal opinions are about the EULA for Vista and what some of the realities are for those who are moving from XP (or another OS) to Vista. As to the early adopter problems, it sounds much like the issues I had when I bought Windows 2000. For six months I languished as driver problems persisted. Guess we will have to check back in six months… Sad that for all the beta work and coding that supposedly went into Vista that it was STILL released as an incomplete product. Guess it’s true – Micro$osft is the only company that can get away with charging people money for what amounts to an extended beta period.
